Innovative Pharmaceutical Packs

Burgopak's designers have created innovative pharmaceutical packs optimised to work on our new machinery. The four basic designs can be adapted to meet your requirements.

 

Single blister

Innovative sliding design allows capsules and instructions to be packaged together in an easy-to-use format.

 

Double blister

Two blister packs are attached within the sleeve for extra capacity.

 

Dual product single blister (Left & Right)

Offers the opportunity to package two complementary treatments in one package. Perfect for day/night medicines, medications remain separated and cannot be confused because the user can only access one product at a time. Separate instructions can be displayed opposite the relevant medication to further avoid confusion.

 

The senior-friendly single blister

Includes a finger hole to increase even further the pack’s ease of use. Child-resistant and senior-friendly designs have achieved the top US rating (F=1) and refillable packs are undergoing testing and development.

 

The child resistant single blister

Burgopak’s latest addition to its Pharma Series has successfully achieved the U.S. Consumer Product and Safety Commission’s F=1 standard for child-resistant effectiveness and senior friendly standard.  This is in conformity with US regulatory standards for poison prevention packaging.  
 
This was achieved with impressive results (child-resistant effectiveness at a pass rate of 98%, and senior adult use effectiveness at 95%).
 
The flexibility of the package also allows the incorporation of patient loyalty or reward cards, and its compact size ensures that it is ideally suitable for travel and on-the-go use.  The pack’s high structural integrity extends its lifespan and ensures that the patient conveniently retains the entire pack intact at all times.
